The R45 rotator has continuous rotation. The oil to open and close the grapple is run through the rotator to ports on the axle. The rotator has a grease fitting to lubricate the pin for the hanger. The grapple has a hose guard which protects the hoses.

The rotators have JIC hook ups

The ports on the axle provide the oil  for opening and closing the grapple
